Hamas managed to seize a major shipment of humanitarian aid that was delivered to Gaza from Jordan earlier this week, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said Thursday, after the supplies were the first to be shipped to the enclave through a newly reopened Israeli border crossing.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken viewed the aid on Tuesday just before it departed from the headquarters of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in Amman bound for the renovated crossing into the Gaza Strip at Erez, which was largely destroyed by Hamas during its October 7 terror onslaught that sparked the ongoing war.
Hamas managed to seize a major shipment of humanitarian aid that was delivered to Gaza from Jordan earlier this week, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said Thursday, after the supplies were the first to be shipped to the enclave through a newly reopened Israeli border crossing.
The reopening of Erez, Israel’s sole crossing on the northern edge of Gaza, had been a main pleas of international aid agencies for months, to alleviate the humanitarian situation which is believed to be most severe among the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in the north of the enclave.
When will the ignorant world accept the truth?

“Miller added that UNRWA, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, would likely issue a statement soon condemning the incident, indicating it was the organization from which Hamas stole the aid.”
Of course UNRWA was involved…
Who could’ve possibly seen this coming
@PieRonniePatriot2wks2W
Who could've possibly anticipated this other than myself and absolutely everyone but Joe Biden?
@L1beralHeronGreen2wks2W
Food supply wouldn't be an issue if Israel complied with international law. Israel was ORDERED by the World Court to open all the entrances and allow all needed humanitarian aid in. The U.S. and U.S. MSM have been providing cover for Israel to starve Palestinians even after being ordered not to do so by the ICJ. Israel is in clear violation of International law by its refusal to abide by the ICJ's March 28th ORDER “to take all the necessary and effective action to ensure basic food supplies arrive without delay to the Palestinian population in Gaza.“ All politicians should have been demanding Israel abide by this World Court ruling which is unambiguously binding international law.
You mean Hamas continues to do anything it can to cause humanitarian suffering in Gaza and not improve it? Shocking. Or like people have been reporting for the last 6 months.
@ISIDEWITH2wks2W
How important is it to ensure aid reaches its intended recipients, and what measures would you suggest?
@9M575VK2wks2W
On an important scale from 1 to 10 its an 8 and if that aid doesn't get to where it needs to get to then give them security.
@9M565DK2wks2W
I suggest that anything that gets in the way of America aiding somewhere that needs support, should be dealt with either diplomatically or militarily
@9M55R7G2wks2W
It’s very important not just to feed the people who need it but also to not give hamas more resources to continue its acts of terror, either Israel needs to move into Rafah with aid right behind them or send more aid into liberated zones encouraging Gazans to go back up to liberated zones
